Hong Kong is an energetic international center of culture and innovation. This prize recognizes and showcases the creative energy and impact of arts practitioners who make Hong Kong their home, through different art mediums.
Whether it’s for helping people at the lowest cost and greatest benefit, or for valuing everyone equally, you could win this award for a project that promotes global civilisation and shows human resilience in the face of challenges.
One of Asia’s premier prizes that could open doors of opportunity, this award offers monetary awards and access to Hong Kong’s premier research facilities. Past winners have included a young man who uses technology to assist homeless individuals, and an artist who interprets human rights concepts through fine art concepts.
Winners of this award will have the chance to receive HK$50,000 to support their creative work, arts projects or further studies. In addition, they will be able to present their submissions to key stakeholders in the development sector and use the platform as a springboard for further global outreach.
The prize is open to residents of Southeast Asia, mainland China and the rest of the world. Interested applicants can visit the “World of Winners” splash page starting March 1 to apply for a chance to win a flight ticket to Hong Kong.
