Hong Kong Pools – Make a Splash in the City That Never Sleeps

When you think of Hong Kong, swimming pools don’t usually spring to mind. Shopping, dim sum and skyscrapers are more likely to come to mind. But, it turns out that the city has a wealth of picturesque swimming spots, from the world’s highest pool to a natural infinity pond on a mountainside. And, of course, we have the ultimate pool – the ocean.

Whether you’re impressing out-of-town guests, or simply want to enjoy some indulgent downtime with the family, we’ve got a pool for you. We’ve put together a list of Hong Kong’s best pools to help you make a splash in the city that never sleeps.

If you’re looking for a place to swim with a view, look no further than the pool at The Conrad Hong Kong. The hotel’s “Weekend By the Pool” package is the perfect way to relax and soak up some rays. The package includes a one-night stay at the luxurious five-star property, two 50-metre pool tickets and unlimited drinks and snacks by the pool. The hotel is also located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the best that Hong Kong has to offer.

Another fabulous pool is the rooftop pool at W Hong Kong. Located on the 76th floor of the hotel, this pool is a must-visit for those who love to take in the breathtaking city views while they swim. Afterwards, you can relax on the deckchairs with a drink and a bite to eat.

Lastly, we’ve got to mention the swimming pool at Kowloon Park. This public swimming pool complex was built as part of the redevelopment and expansion of the Kowloon Park in the 1980s. The design of the pool was a collaboration between United Kingdom-based Derek Walker Associates and local firm Simon Kwan and Associates. The engineering was by BuroHappold and the construction work was carried out by Shui On.

Public swimming pool monthly ticket smart card system launching in new season

With the new swimming season underway, all public swimming pools will introduce the monthly ticket smart card system from tomorrow (April 1). This card will have a portrait of the card holder printed on it and preloaded with information on the validity period. The card will replace the need to present documentary proof of identity upon entering a swimming pool, thereby enhancing the convenience for the public.
