Zach Farr began practicing yoga in 2011 as a way to deepen his spiritual practice and cultivate a healthy mind and body. He received his 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in the summer of 2016 at Shiva Yoga Peeth in Rishikesh, India. He also continues to deepen his knowledge and practice in meditation through various practices, focusing primarily on Vipassana and Zen meditation teachings. His yogasana teaching style is in the vein of Iyengar and Hatha Yoga, in which he received his training. In his classes, you may experience longer held postures with precise focus on alignment, with a consistent reminder that the entire experience in itself is a practice of the mind.
