Like many people, I first came to yoga as a physical practice, and quickly learned the many ways that yoga can change lives. Yoga is much more than physical postures. It’s great for both strengthening and stretching the body, but it is the strengthening and stretching of mind, body and breath through Asanas, Meditation and Pranayama, that gives yoga healing properties. For over 20 years, I’ve worked to create sacred space for my students and clients to explore mind, body & breath with nurturing and support. I specialize in Therapeutic Yoga, Yoga for Cancer, Gentle Yoga, and Meditation, as well as yoga and bodywork for women throughout their life cycles, including prenatal and postpartum, pelvic floor training, yoga for seniors, and chair yoga. I am an E-RYT200 RYT500 Yoga Teacher, c-IAYT Yoga Therapist, YACEP, and licensed NMT. Before beginning my work in alternative healthcare, I was a dance and theater producer in New York City and Atlanta. I raised two strong, smart and beautiful daughters in Atlanta with my husband, two cats, and a Great Dane named Leon.
