Julie discovered her passion for yoga in 2001. Finding so much healing and personal growth through this practice, she is passionate about serving in her community to share this gift with others. Her hope is to help you find a safe space on your mat to unwind from your busy or stressed life, and walk out feeling refreshed, restored and relaxed.
Julie began her yoga journey in Bikram and later received her 200-hr Anusara-inspired Vinyasa yoga teacher certification in 2019, with Joe Palese. She has additional certifications in Pranakriya-Yin and Grounded Kids Yoga.
Julie is a graduate of UGA where she earned a BS in Psychology. She became a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Integrativce Institute of Nutrition, in May of 2018 and loves helping others discover how to truly live their best lives!
Julie has been a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation for many years and will use her experience to encourage students to dive inward and find stillness within each posture.
