It’s an old cliche, but Chris was brought to his first yoga class by his (amazing) girlfriend. He liked it so much that he eventually became a teacher. Approaching yoga much like his other passion, music, Chris takes his practice much more seriously than he takes himself and believes that if you have a breath in your body you can (and should) do yoga, no matter what you think your body can or can’t do.
Chris received his 200 hour teacher training at Decatur Yoga & Pilates through friend and teacher Joe Palese. He is currently working towards a certification in Yoga Therapy with The Center for Integrative Yoga Studies. Comfortable with many forms of yoga (including Vinyasa, Bikram, kids yoga, therapeutic, restorative, level 1 through advanced) he builds classes based around the physical and emotional needs of people attending each class making each practice unique. Using yoga as a tool of physical, emotional, and mental exploration makes it fully accessible to every body as it was truly meant to be.
