Betsy discovered yoga in 2011, shortly after moving to Aspen, Colorado. After two snowboard accidents in 2012, her yoga practice deepened significantly as she discovered physical, mental, and emotional healing by consistently showing up on her mat. For Betsy, yoga asana became greater than a workout. She found it a great tool for self-discovery, self-awareness, and self-love. In her classes, she hopes to empower students to look at their practice as a mirror to their lives, to build confidence and trust, and to find balance, strength and flexibility both in the body and mind. In class, you can expect an intentional, creative sequence with a clear focus on the present moment through the breath.
