Barbara came to yoga in middle age. She completed her 200-hour CYTT under the instruction of Swami Jaya Devi. Barbara also has a strong meditation practice. Along with yoga, her decades long practice has been an important anchor, helping her navigate life’s inevitable challenges with greater self-compassion. Off the mat Barbara works with the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence. She loves reading, cooking and gardening.
