Jenni came to Atlanta from Nashville, TN where she received her Masters Degree in Special Education from Vanderbilt in 2003. Since then she has been educating young children with various exceptionalities. Jenni began her personal journey with yoga as an anxious vocal performance major in college. Yoga brought her a peace and presence that she hadn’t previously experienced. As a classroom teacher, Jenni found that yoga had a calming and focusing affect on her preschoolers with autism.
Jenni has studied with Shakta Kaur Khalsa, Cheryl Crawford, and Amy Haysman. She has a certification in Radiant Child Yoga Level 1-3, is a YogaKids® Certified Facilitator and Trainer, and a teacher of the Grounded Yoga Program. As she continued to grow in her practice, Jenni was drawn to bring her teaching to adults as well. She completed a 200-hour MBYoga Teacher Training with Mitchel Bleier, David Aukamp, and Ruth Ann Martin in April 2010.
Jenni incorporates the principles of yoga with laughter and joy to encourage both children and adults to live healthier, more balanced lives. Jenni hopes that adults and children leave her classes prepared to live their yoga on and off the mat.
