This class focuses on creating a state of deep introspection through the practice of breathwork and asanas (postures). The class starts with pranayama (breathing techniques) and a series of flowing and strengthening postures to help bring strength, stability and energy into the body and mind. The class closes with restorative postures focused on flexibilty and relaxation. This class is appropriate for beginners, for those with therapeutic needs and for more advanced students looking for a meditative class. Pranakriya is born out of the Kripalu tradition, and modifications are given for both those with therapeutic needs and more advanced students. Students of all levels can expect to build strength, stability, focus, and flexibility in this class. All levels. 75 minutes.
